Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Headliner (“we”, “us”) collects when you create an account, run a site on our platform, or visit a site we host, and what we do with it.

Who we are

Headliner is an artist website platform operated by Up North Creative. We act as a data controller for your account information and as a data processor for the fan information collected through the sites you build with us.

Information we collect

• Account information — the name, email, and password you provide when you sign up, plus your plan and billing status.
• Site content — the text, links, images, and settings you enter to build your site.
• Fan information — email addresses and messages that visitors submit through your site’s mailing-list and contact forms. This is collected on your behalf; you are responsible for how you use it.
• Usage data — our built-in analytics counts page views and referrers without cookies and without tracking individuals across sites.
• Technical data — IP address and browser type, used for security, rate-limiting, and preventing abuse.

How we use it

• To provide, maintain, and secure your account and your site.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To send you service messages (billing, security, and important changes).
• To deliver fan sign-ups and contact messages to you.
• To improve the platform and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use fan information for our own marketing.

Service providers

We share data only with the vendors that run the platform, under agreements that protect it:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Resend — transactional and form email delivery.
• Any analytics or advertising tags you choose to add to your own site (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta) are governed by those providers’ policies.

Data retention

We keep account and site data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, we retain it for a short grace period so you can reactivate, then delete or anonymize it. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@headliner.band.

Security

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords, least-privilege access, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

Children

Headliner is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email, and the “last updated” date above will change.
