Cookie Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026
This is a plain-language starting template, not legal advice — have counsel review it before you rely on it.
This policy explains how Headliner uses cookies and similar technologies — both on this platform and on the artist sites we host.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Some are essential for a site to work; others are optional and used for analytics or advertising.
Cookies we use on the platform
- Authentication — a secure, essential cookie that keeps you logged in to your dashboard. Without it you can’t stay signed in.
- Preferences — small settings such as your dashboard light/dark choice.
- Admin session — when an authorized manager or admin edits an artist’s site on their behalf, a secure, signed cookie records that session. It is not used for tracking.
Our built-in visitor analytics is cookieless — it counts page views and referrers without storing cookies or identifying individuals.
Cookies on artist sites
An artist site built on Headliner uses only the essential cookies needed to function — unless the artist adds their own tracking. If an artist connects tools like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok, or Microsoft Clarity, those tools may set their own cookies, governed by those providers’ policies. Artists who add such tools are responsible for any consent banner their audience’s laws require.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you from logging in and using the dashboard. Most browsers also let you clear cookies for a specific site.
Changes
We may update this policy as the platform changes. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
